ServiceIQ is a free community-help service. We take privacy seriously: we do not sell your personal information, we show no paid placement, and your phone and email stay private until you choose to share them.

3. Contact sharing is your choice

Your phone number and email are never shown to another user by default. On each job, you decide whether to share your contact with the other party by tapping "Share my number." You can revoke that at any time, which immediately hides it again. Each person controls their own information.

Other users can see your name and the general nature/location of a request needed to help. Your phone/email are visible to a counterparty only after you share them. Operators may access data as needed to run the Service, investigate reports, comply with law, or protect users.

6. Data retention & your choices

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to operate the Service and meet legal obligations. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. You can turn off location and push permissions in your device settings at any time.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards (encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

ServiceIQ is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; we will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app.
